Once upon a time there was a monster called the Gruffalo. He had a child named after him called the Gruffalo's Child. They both went to the forest to go on an adventure. When they got halfway, the little Gruffalo was tired. Big Gruffalo said, "Come on! We are nearly finished!" But the little Gruffalo said, "No! I'm too tired."
When the Little Gruffalo got up they went on. When they were almost there they saw two fat mice and they looked good to eat so they ate them up.
They both said, "YUM!"
